Heraklion begins at the port gate: the Koules fortress stands on the old harbour a few minutes’ walk away, and the Morosini fountain is a short ride into the centre. Knossos is about fifteen minutes by car. Agios Nikolaos and Elounda are an hour to the east; Rethymno a little over an hour to the west, Chania a little over two.

Where do I meet my driver?
At the passenger terminal, by the exit. Your driver holds a sign with your name and will already know which ferry you are on. If your ship berths at a different quay, we will message you the meeting point the evening before.
What if my ferry is delayed?
We watch the sailing. Crossings to Crete move with the weather, and a delay of an hour or three changes nothing about your pickup or your fare. If your ferry is cancelled outright, message us on WhatsApp and we will move the booking to the next one at no charge.
Can you meet an overnight ferry?
Yes. The Piraeus boats dock in the early morning and we meet every one of them. The fare does not change with the hour.
Is the port far from Heraklion town?
No — the port is the town. The Koules fortress is a few minutes’ walk from the gate and the centre is a short ride. If you are staying in Heraklion itself, the journey is a matter of minutes.
I'm on a cruise — can you have me back in time?
Yes, and it’s the part we plan around. Tell us your all-aboard time when you book and your driver builds the day backwards from it, with the return leg timed to leave a comfortable margin.
Is the price per person or per car?
Per car. The listed fare covers up to three passengers with three suitcases.
Larger groups, or heavier luggage, are quoted for a minivan or minibus at the booking stage.
Can we stop at Knossos on the way to the hotel?
Often, yes.
A short stop can usually be added for a supplement — ask when you book. For anything longer, one of our private tours will suit you better.
How do I pay?

Booking online, you can pay by card — either the full fare or a 30% deposit, with the balance settled at the end of the journey.
