We start from the traditional village of Fodele where the painter Dominikos Theotokopoulos, also known as El Greco, was born. In the museum, which is located there, you can see copies of his works.
We continue on to the historic Cave of Melidoni and passing through traditional villages, we arrive at Margarites villages, where you can find small ceramics workshops. There you will have the opportunity to make your own artwork yourself!
In the Eleftherna Museum you will see exhibits of ancient prehistoric Eleftherna.
The historic Arkadi Monastery will take us back to time, to modern history and to the struggles of the Cretans for liberation from the Turks.
Finally in the Old Town of Rethymno where you can find the Venetian harbor.
